This is an oil painting on board, with half of the painting being concealed under a cover. The viewer can lift the cover to reveal the entire painting.

The painting is of a frog in human flesh tones. This juxtaposition serves as a visual metaphor for transformation and adaptation, through which I hope to explore the fluid nature of our understanding of self. I also hope the intentional ambiguity within the exposed half of the painting will prompt the viewer to explore how we react to and interpret the skin and flesh of an individual, and as well as the dynamics of voyeurism and abstraction
